The data management plan (DMP) provides details of what data the project will produce, how it will be exploited and made accessible for verification and re-use, and how it will be cured and preserved. The DMP identifies key actions and strategies for proper data management. It ensures that research data are of a high quality, safe, sustainable, and (when possible) accessible and re-usable, following the findable, accessible, interoperable, and re-usable (FAIR) principles.
